Hi!
A few more pictures of the Grampians region. It's typical in the country to have all the mailboxes at the crossing with the mainroad and sometimes the mailboxes are extremly creative. Appearing as a pig or other figures.
The Wallaby was feeding beside my car on the campground. It's quite funny to have your breakfast while the wallaby is sitting beside you having breakfast, too!
I'm in Melbourne now, first time since Sydney in an Backpackerhostel, and it's a nice City. Huge, but not as busy and stressful as Sydney.
Don't know, wether I do another post before chrismas, so I want to wish you all a happy chrismas!!

    greetings from Munich! I just look over all of your pictures and they are great. Seems to me that you have a lot fun there - down under. But, despite you have no snow there (we do have a lot of it) I wish you a merry (and sunny) christmas and a happy new year.

    p.s. By the way, I need some expert advice. Is Fosters beer worth drinking it??? I have the opportunity to get some of this stuff but I thought if I have an Aussie expert then I can first ask her. So I waiting for reply. See ya.

  • Yeah, you can drink Fosters, it's quite allright. And it's one of the cheep beers over here and much better than VB (Victoria Bitter), that's the australian Rosen Pils...

  • so, tini, und nochmal merry christmas und so. werden hier wohl auch keinen schnee haben, dafür regen, toll. und jetzt gucke ich grad, ob ich meinem ich-muss-meine-kommentare-als-anonymer-deklarieren-problem auf die spur komme, und ob der grund dafür evtl. mein opera zu haus ist. bei meiner schwester mit dem i-explorer erscheint nämlich grad das feld zur eingabe eines namens - bei mir in bonn nicht.... na ja, wir schauen mal! happy new year.... drücke dich doll!!! deine schmo :-)

  • Hallo tina.. bin doch gar nicht so bloed wie ich aussehe, ich wuensch dir auch ein frohes weihnachtsfest und ich hoffe das wir uns in sydney noch mal sehen koennen, vielleicht koennen wir ja zusammen eine ausflug in die blue mountains machen, gern auch mit deinen freunden..
    uebrigens, es war sehr sehr schoen, lustig, interresant und cool mit dir die 3 tage in melbourne zu verbringen!!!gruss aus sydney...holgi

    Ruth möchte dir schreiben weiß aber nicht wie deshalb heut vom gartenstück.
    Hier bin ich Tini. Bin gerade bei Christian zu Besuch und fahre morgen wieder nach Speyer. Ich treffe mich dort mit meinem neuen Freund. Weiß nicht, ob ich von ihm erzählt habe. Er heißt Carsten und ist 28 und ich kenne ihn seit August. Er ist ein absolut toller Mensch und ich bin so froh ihn kennengelernt zu haben. Ich habe jetzt von Ellen die webseite um regelmäßig an deinen Erfahrungen teilzunehmen. Irgendwie habe ich den Link nicht bekommen. Egal, jetzt hab ich ihn. Wünsche dir nachträglich schöne Weihnachten in der Sonne und einen guten Start ins neue Jahr. Freue mich schon auf unser Wiedersehen. Ich wünsche dir weiterhin viel Spaß in Australia und viele posititve Erfahrungen. Wir können bestimmt viel austauschen, wenn du wieder da bist. War ja auch mal ein Jahr im Ausland. Das prägt einen schon.

  • Tini!
    How are things going for you? are you still out in Australia soaking up the sun, scuba diving and living the life on the Golden Coast?
    I am planning some more trips now.. a 200km paddling trip in the spring time, maybe a climbing trip to Nevada USA and hopefully another climbing trip to Greece :)
